More Information |
| These caster wheels have gray non-marking
injection molded rubber mechanically and chemically bonded to a polyolefin
center. They are especially suited for use in Pharmaceutical Laboratories,
Hospitals, Food Service and other Institutional applications. These caster
wheels provide a softer ride than polyurethane and yet withstand exposure to
many chemicals and solvents. They can be used in industrial applications which
do not involve shock, overloading, abuse, obstructions, poor floors or storage
(standing) loads. |

| The extra soft rubber on these caster wheels
helps to absorb vibration and shock, thus protecting the load or cargo while in
transit. Another benefit of these extra soft rubber caster wheels is noise
reduction. These caster wheels are designed for use in Hospitals, Electronic
and Scientific Laboratories, Hotels, Department Stores, TV and Movie Studios -
wherever vibration and noise should be eliminated. |

More Information |
| PREMIUM rubber caster wheels have a special compound of
highly resilient soft rubber bonded to thick aluminum wheel centers. Unlike
Conventional Moldon rubber caster wheels, PREMIUM rubber caster wheels can be
moved manually when loaded to their rated capacities. Selecting PREMIUM rubber
caster wheels means you do not have to give up the benefits of a resilient
wheel (full floor and cargo protection) in order to get rollability. PREMIUM
rubber caster wheels are dependable, require little or no maintenance, and
improve efficiency in manually moved operations. |

More Information |
| These Conventional Moldon rubber caster wheels have
soft rubber tires molded onto iron centers. Soft rubber provides more desirable
operating characteristics than any other wheel material. It is quiet, absorbs
shock (prolonging equipment life and protecting cargo), can roll over small
objects, protects costly floor surfaces, and minimizes vibration. |

| These solid all polyurethane caster wheels are non
marking and non conductive. The absence of a metal center eliminates bond
failure as a cause for wheel replacement. These caster wheels are especially
suited for use with stainless steel casters in wet and corrosive applications.
They are designed for use in Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Hospitals, and Food
Processing Plants - wherever a clean sanitary design is desired. These wheels
are not recommended for applications involving shock, overloading, abuse,
obstructions, poor floors, or for storage (standing) loads. Hardness is 60 - 65
Durometer Shore D. Temperature range is -20° to 180° F. Standard wheel
color is Blue. |

polyurethane tires mechanically and chemically bonded to a polyolefin center.
They are especially suited for use in Research Laboratories, Hospitals, Food
Service, Schools, Bakeries and other Institutional applications. These caster
wheels are easier rolling than Gray Rubber on smooth floors. They withstand
exposure to many chemicals and solvents. They can be used in industrial
applications which do not involve shock, overloading, abuse, obstructions, poor
floors or storage ( standing ) loads. |

More Information |
| Polyurethane is superior to rubber in resistance to
grease, oil, cutting, chunking, and abrasive wear. These caster wheels can be
used on almost any factory floor. As with moldon rubber, the bonding agent
which holds the polyurethane tire ( tread ) to its iron center can be affected
by exposure to some chemicals, impact, overloading, and the buildup of heat.
Tire hardness is 90 to 95 Durometer, Shore A for wheels with prefix PY, PYR and
PYC. Tire Hardness is 60 - 65 Durometer, Shore D for wheels with prefix PHY.
Temperature range is -20° to 180° F. |

| These caster wheels have a liquid cast non-marking
polyurethane tire chemically bonded to a Glass-filled Nylon core. Liquid cast
polyurethane has a greater load capacity and tends to be more durable than
injection molded polyurethane. The Glass-filled Nylon core prevents corrosion.
These Polyurethane on Glass-Filled Nylon caster wheels withstand exposure to
water, oil, grease, most solvents and chemicals. They are well suited for
industrial, food processing, bakery, hospitals, schools and pharmaceutical
applications. |

| These uniquely designed polyurethane wheels are the
finest polyurethane wheels ever made ! Each wheel has two independent rotating
surfaces which enhance capacity and swivel ease. The heavy duty aluminum
centers are equipped with extra large sealed precision ball bearings which
require NO maintenance. These wheels have a higher carrying capacity and roll
easier than any other polyurethane wheel of the same diameter having the same
size footprint and hardness. |

| Where loads are too heavy for floor protective wheels,
or where unusually severe service factors are present, forged steel &
Ductile steel caster wheels will do the job. Usually in these applications the
user will not consider floor wear as too great a penalty considering the work
that is being done. Forged steel caster wheels will damage most factory floors,
and thus are generally used on steel plate, in channel, or as V-groove wheels
rolling on angle iron track. |

| These iron caster wheels provide high capacity and are
less expensive than forged steel caster wheels. They are practical for use on
wood block or hardened smooth concrete. On untreated concrete they tend to
cause rapid floor deterioration. Although the treads are machined smooth to
minimize floor wear, iron caster wheels are not recommended where floor or
cargo protection is needed. Gray iron is a tough, long wearing material, but it
does not have the impact strength of ductile or forged steel. These caster
wheels withstand shock and impact in all but the most severe applications.

| Phenolic caster wheels are made from macerated canvas
mixed with phenolic resin, and molded under high pressure and temperature. Its
hardness is comparable to polished maple flooring. Phenolic caster wheels are
recommended for smooth concrete and can be used for storage (standing) loads
without permanent set. These caster wheels are highly resistant to oil, grease,
gasoline and mild acids. It is not recommended for wet applications where the
wheel will be in standing water. They are affected in various degrees by strong
acids and some alkaline solutions. Temperature range is -40° to +250°
F, with intermittent use up to 300° F. Phenolic caster wheels will carry
loads as great as the same size iron wheel. The wheel material may chip or cut
from contact with steel plate or from rolling over steel parts on the
floor. |

| These polyolefin caster wheels are especially suited
for use in wet and corrosive applications. They are injection molded from a
blend of thermoplastic polymers, forming a one piece solid sanitary design.
Temperature range 30° to +180° F. In a cold dry environment, such as in
a refrigerated storeroom, polyolefin may become brittle. Polyolefin is very
resistant to many commonly encountered liquids. |

| V-groove caster wheels are designed to guide equipment
by rolling on inverted angle iron track. Elevated track minimizes problems
caused by floor debris. The relief groove at the base of the "V" equalizes the
load on each face of the angle. Forged Steel V-groove caster wheels minimize
wear of the V-groove sides and are best for frequent operation. |

| Air filled pneumatic wheels are designed for low speed,
manually moved applications. Air filled pneumatic wheels provide a cushioned
ride, shock absorption and quiet operation. Pneumatic wheels are ideally suited
for moving fragile or delicate cargo. Pneumatic wheels are usually the best
choice for use outdoors over rough surfaces ( i.e. gravel ) or on grass. The
wide footprint on 8" or larger pneumatic wheels provides stability on gravel
and does not sink into lawns. |
