  • This wheel does not provide a soft cushioned ride. The tire is made of microcellular polyurethane foam. Picture melted polyurethane in a foam. There are tiny bubbles / air pockets inside the tire tread that help to cushion the ride. There is also a large air pocket below the tire tread ( inside the center ) which further cushions the cargo. For maximum cargo protection, we suggest Pneumatic Casters or our Casters with Super Cushion rubber wheels.

Caterpillar All Terrain wheels have precision sealed ball bearings.

Deduct 1 lb. for weight of rigid caster.
You should never select on the basis of load capacity alone. Capacity ratings do not take into account the effort required to manually move a load. Capacity ratings are based on manual operation under ideal conditions. If these casters are going to be moved by mechanically powered equipment, consult us for a reduced capacity rating based on your application.
