Heavy Duty Industrial Caster - Model 150
Capacity 15,000 pounds per caster.
Model 150 is designed for the heaviest caster applications. Modification can be made to provide 20,000 lbs. capacity per caster when needed. Model 150 is almost exclusively used in conjunction with mechanically powered equipment. The benefits of a precision machined swivel bearing still apply: easier swiveling, reduced swivel vibration, and longer trouble free performance. Load ratings are based on manually moved loads at a speed up to 3 mph under ideal operating conditions. Your application will almost never involve ideal operating conditions, which is a good reason to rely on our experienced and knowledgeable staff for a recommendation.

Features:
  • Swivel Construction - precision machined combination load and thrust bearing with heat treated raceway.
  • Legs - 1/2" thick formed steel.
  • Axle - 1 1/4" diameter bolt.
  • Wheel Bearing - 1 1/4" tapered roller bearings.
  • Grease Fittings - for swivel and wheel bearings.
  • Finish - external metal parts are painted.
 Optional Features:
  • Welded Swivel Lock - V-Groove swivel casters require a Swivel Lock in order to go backwards when on Angle Iron Track.

This caster is made on special order ONLY. Delivery is usually 4 weeks or less.
This product is NOT RETURNABLE....
Shipping via Motor Freight to "Lower 48 States" is included in the price.


Deduct 12 lb. for weight of Rigid Casters with Forged Steel Wheels and 22 lbs. for all other Rigid Casters.

V-Groove swivel casters require a Swivel Lock in order to go backwards when on Angle Iron Track.
You should never select on the basis of load capacity alone. Capacity ratings do not take into account the effort required to manually move a load. Capacity ratings are based on manual operation under ideal conditions. If these casters are going to be moved by mechanically powered equipment, consult us for a reduced capacity rating based on your application. If a human being has to move the weight, select the largest practical wheel diameter.
