| SELF-ENERGIZING rubber wheels
require the lowest draw bar effort ever devised in any resilient tread wheel.
The prestressed rubber tire resists flattening under load, reduces "scrubbing"
action when turning, and actually helps to roll the load. A minimum starting
effort, and an extremely small draw bar pull to maintain motion (60% less than
conventional rubber), allows one man to move loads (up to 3000 lbs.) that
before required several men. Vertical bonding (with approximately seven times
the area of conventional wheels) eliminates bond failure as a cause for wheel
replacement. The steel side discs dissipate heat so that the tire remains cool
after hours of uninterrupted operation. Sealed tapered roller bearings are
pre-adjusted in the wheel to assure they always maintain proper
adjustment. manually move a load. Capacity ratings in this catalog are based on manual
operation under ideal conditions. If these casters are going to be moved by
mechanically powered equipment, consult us for a reduced capacity rating based
