Nickel Plated Casters - Plate Mount - Caster Model N3 |

When both appearance and function are required, Caster Model N3 leads
the competition. These nickel plated beauties have a bright nickel finish. The
swivel casters have sealed swivel bearings with a lubrication fitting. These
features keep out dirt, dust and other contaminants while minimizing noise and
vibration.
These casters are especially well suited for use in
Hospitals, Electronic and Scientific Laboratories, Hotels, Department Stores,
TV and Movie Studios - wherever noise and vibration should be eliminated. In
order to achieve these goals, we show only four types of wheels in the table
below. However, any wheel that is shown in our Caster Model 3 will fit into
this nickel plated version which we call Caster Model N3. Please call if you're

There is nothing better than our extra soft
gray rubber wheel at absorbing vibration, reducing noise and protecting both
cargo and hard floors. This unique wheel is described in detail elsewhere on
our website. It comes standard with zero maintenance Delrin Bearings. The
rubber is extra soft in order to provide the benefits described above. This
necessitates reducing the load capacity rating. If your application requires
both the benefits provided by extra soft rubber wheels and a higher load
capacity, then consider our
Super Cushion
Rubber Wheels.
The red polyurethane caster wheel also comes
standard with zero maintenance delrin bearings. It also has a crown shaped
tread which enhances the ability of a swivel caster to turn or change
direction. The narrow footprint of these caster wheels reduces the liklihood
that carpet will bunch up in their path. Both caster wheels can be furnished
with ball bearings upon request.
The Gray Rubber and Gray Polyurethane
caster wheels shown with Thread Guards have a sealed Precision Ball Bearing.
They roll very easily and virtually without any noise.

Deduct 1/4 lb. for weight of rigid caster.
You should never select on the basis of load capacity
alone. Capacity ratings do not take into account the effort required to
manually move a load. Capacity ratings are based on manual operation under
ideal conditions. If these casters are going to be moved by mechanically
powered equipment, consult us for a reduced capacity rating based on your
application.
