Polyurethane on Aluminum Crown Tread Caster Wheels
These non-marking wheels are easy rolling and can be used on both hard floors and carpet. The crown shape of the tread allows the wheel to roll on carpet without bunching up the carpet in front of its path. When used in a swivel caster, the crown enables the swivel to rotate easier than with flat tread wheels. The Extra Large Sealed Precision Ball Bearings in these wheels are maintenance free and prevent grease from coming in contact with floors. All of these features, taken together, make these wheels very cost effective. Offered in: Black - 70 - 75A Durameter - Softest, quietest, most resilient and best traction. Red - 80 - 85A Durameter - Slightly easier rolling when moved manually, still is fairly quiet with some cushion to the ride. Blue - 95 - 98A Durameter - The easiest rolling manually, least resilient and least quiet. Gray - 60D Durameter - Very Hard, no cushion but highest load capacity. Load Ratings ( Cap. Lbs. ) are actually a RANGE. We have selected load ratings at the low end of what these wheels can support in order to enhance rollability.

We furnish top hat spanner bushings with each caster wheel to fit a 1/2" shaft/axle.

All wheel hub length are 2 1/2 " measured over the bushings.

All wheels fit on 1/2" axle diameter.

You should never select on the basis of load capacity alone. Capacity ratings do not take into account the effort required to manually move a load. Capacity ratings are based on manual operation under ideal conditions. If these wheels are going to be moved by mechanically powered equipment, consult us for a reduced capacity rating based on your application.
