The non-marking gray soft rubber and polyurethane wheels provide maximum floor and cargo protection, quiet operation, and extremely easy rolling. Offered in Threaded Stem and Expanding Rubber Stem models. Available with Total Lock Brake. This brake simultaneously locks the wheel and the swivel making it a total locking caster. One step on the activating pedal instantly locks the entire caster holding the equipment firmly in place. One step on the release pedal frees the swivel and wheel. This is a great total locking caster. |

These casters are ideal for most light duty applications where a caster must be totally immobile when the caster brake is applied. Caster Model 3A has a unique brake which locks both the wheel and the swivel bearing simultaneously. This "Total-Lock" brake insures that the swivel caster will not turn when the wheel is locked. This combination wheel brake and swivel lock is essential for safety in some applications - such as on worktables and medical equipment. - Caster Model 4A - Plate Mount Capacity up to 400 pounds per caster with a small mounting plate size 2 3/8" x 3 5/8". These casters are ideal for applications where the caster must be totally immobile when the caster brake is applied. Caster Model 4A has a unique brake which locks both the wheel and the swivel bearing at the same time. This "Total-Lock" brake insures that the swivel caster will not turn when the wheel is locked. This combination wheel brake and swivel lock is essential for safety in applications - such as on worktables, tablesaws, and medical equipment. The Total-Lock brake is desireable whenever a brake is needed because it makes a swivel caster totally immobile. The wheels featured with Caster Model 4A are non-marking, and all except Polyolefin and Phenolic can be used on hardwood floors. Polyolefin and Phenolic wheels are best at reducing the risk of a flat spot occuring when loads are left standing for prolong periods. All the wheels have a precision sealed ball bearings for easier rolling. Gray Soft Rubber and Polyurethane wheels provide quiet operation, floor and cargo protection. |

Casters with Super Cushion Rubber
Wheels Resilience of a Pneumatic without air in the tire. SUPER CUSHION rubber caster wheels provide a cushioned ride, shock absorption and quiet operation. They can be used outdoors on grass or dirt but are not recommended for use on gravel. They are more resilient than pneumatics with none of the maintenance problems associated with air filled wheels. |

The Super
Caster with Self-Energizing Rubber Wheels SELF-ENERGIZING rubber wheels require the lowest draw bar effort ever devised in any resilient tread wheel. The prestressed rubber tire resists flattening under load, reduces "scrubbing" action when turning, and actually helps to roll the load. A minimum starting effort, and an extremely small draw bar pull to maintain motion (60% less than conventional rubber), allows one man to move loads (up to 3000 lbs.) that before required several men. Vertical bonding (with approximately seven times the area of conventional wheels) eliminates bond failure as a cause for wheel replacement. The steel side discs dissipate heat so that the tire remains cool after hours of uninterrupted operation. Sealed tapered roller bearings are pre-adjusted in the wheel to assure they always maintain proper adjustment. |
