Caster Model 3 is made from stamped steel frames with a zinc plating to resist corrosion. Stem Caster Model 3 uses a ⅜” diameter axle and the swivel bearing is assembled with a ½” rivet. The swivel brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on hardened swivel raceways. There is a metal dust cover protecting the swivel raceways to shield them from dirt and dust.
The mounting plate is 2 3/8” x 3 5/8” and the hole pattern is slotted to: 1 3/4” x 2 7/8” – 3” and is designed to use a mounting bolt size of 5/16”.
