10″ Diameter Forged Steel Wheel 1 1/4″ Tapered Roller Bearing. When capacity loads are too much for floor protective wheels, or where unusually severe service factors are present, forged steel industrial caster wheels will do the job.When your application calls for severe conditions and is too heavy for floor protective wheels, forged steel industrial caster wheels will do the job. Forged steel wheels have the highest ductility and tensile strength of any industrial caster wheel that we manufacture. We provide a lubrication fitting on all forged steel wheels. Caster City counter bores each side of the hub and presses in 2 tapered roller bearings to offer maximum capacity and service life. Caster City manufactures forged steel industrial wheels in 2”, 3”, and 4” wide and in diameters ranging from 6” to 12”. Forged steel industrial caster wheels can be used up to 700° F depending upon the application. Forged steel industrial caster wheels will damage most factory floors while under heavy loads, and thus are generally used on steel plate, in channel, or as v-grooved wheels rolling on an inverted angle iron track.
