Phenolic Model 30 Swivel Casters are a step up from model G15 swivel casters. It features zinc plated metal frames are for rust protection, and there are lubricated fittings for all mobile parts. It also includes a larger swivel and wheel bearings and wider wheels.  The precision machined swivel provides superior performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment. Popular options include a face contact wheel brake to lock the wheels and a hand operated swivel lock that converts a swivel caster into a rigid caster for direct line travel.

Phenolic wheels are non-marking, hard composition wheels designed for supporting large loads comparable to a metal wheel. Phenolic can not develop a flat spot if left parked for a long period under load, and the wheel is capable of withstanding shock loads and the impacts of small obstructions. Phenolic can absorb water and other chemicals if excessive exposure occurs. Caster City has designed this wheel to either have a precision sealed ball bearing or a roller bearing in the wheel. This wheel comes in diameters ranging from 3” to 18” and the width of the wheels ranges from 1-¼” to 4”.
