Description
Model 50 swivel casters utilize the same Polyurethane on Iron caster wheels shown in plate caster model 30. Yet, the model 50 plate caster has a larger mounting plate and thicker legs for increased loads and more tiresome service. The swivel bearing inside the Plate Model 50 provides excellent performance on both mechanically and hand powered equipment. Options include a face contact wheel brake to lock the wheels and a hand operated swivel lock that converts this caster into a rigid caster for straight line travel. There are greasing fittings for all moveable parts, and the metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance.
