3″ Gray Soft Rubber.Swivel Bearing Seal & Grease Fitting. Shown in photo with 5″ wheels. Stainless Steel Stem Caster Model 3 is made using a stamped steel construction and is excellent for corrosive applications. This swivel stem caster is built with a ⅜” axle bolt and the swivel raceways are held together by a ½” rivet. Stainless Steel stem Caster Model 3 caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. There is a solid cover over the swivel raceways to shield them from dirt and dust. Institutional stem casters of this size are not intended to hold more than 1000 lbs on four of them, please consult with us at Caster City for assistance.

This injection molded soft gray rubber tire has had the carbon black removed from the rubber which makes it a non-marking caster wheel, suitable for applications such as a hospital. This institutional caster wheel was designed to use a ⅜” axle and the tread width of the tire is 1-¼”.This soft gray rubber caster wheel comes with a durometer of 90-95A, making it excellent for indoor usage on smooth surfaces to reduice noise and vibration. This caster wheel has a sealed precision ball bearing protected with plastic spanner bushings that reduce the inner diameter of the axle, act as thread guards, and guard the bearing from indirect and direct moisture exposure. If your application is moved infrequently and has a high capacity, injection molded caster wheels such as this are not the best choice.
