Description
3″ Gray Rubber Wheel. Shown in photo with 5″ wheels. This rigid caster 3A with total locking is made from stamped steel that is zinc plated for corrosion resistance. This rigid caster uses a ⅜” diameter axle. Rigid casters are most commonly selected when price is a factor, or if you need to travel in a straight line over long distances. This rigid caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1200 lbs on a set of 4 Model 3A casters. The Total Locking Stainless Caster Model 3A is excellent for worktables and medical equipment.
This caster wheel is made of a non-marking gray rubber tire that is mechanically bonded to it’s polyolefin center. The axle diameter of this caster wheel is ⅜” and the width of the wheel is 1-¼”.The durometer of this soft gray rubber caster wheel is 90-95A, making it ideal for vibration and noise reduction. This gray soft rubber caster wheel is assembled with a sealed precision ball bearing that is further guarded by two plastic spanner bushings which also act as thread guards, rotating against the axle and further protecting the bearing from direct water or chemical exposure. If your application is moved infrequently and has a high capacity, injection molded caster wheels such as this are not the best choice.
