This caster can be used on wire-shelving that use a 3/8″ threaded stem caster insert. Wire-shelving such as TRINITY, PLACETECH, HDX, STYLE SELECTIONS, AMAZON BASICS, BEST OFFICE, TOUGH STUFF, SAFERACKS, MEMBER’s MARK, SEVILLE CLASSICS, GRAINGER, U-LINE, Eagle Wire, and other brands are made with 1″O.D round tubing with a 3/8″ threaded stem insert for your caster. This stem caster is a universal O.E. replacement shelving caster that fits into tubing of most wire rack and wire shelving units.. Our high quality 3/8″ threaded stem caster can support much more weight than the casters that came with the wire rack or wire shelving. Upgrade your wire rack and wire shelving with stem casters.

4″ Black Polyolefin Plain Bore Wheel. Shown in photo with 5″ wheels. This stem caster L3 Model is made of stamped steel that is zinc plated to resist corrosion. This stem caster uses a ⅜” diameter axle and the swivel caster raceway is held together by a ½” diameter rivet. Stem Caster Model L3 caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. This stem caster is assembled with a dust cover to protect the ball bearings in the swivel. This stem caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 800 lbs on a set of 4 model 3 casters.
