Description
4″ Gray Soft Rubber Wheel. Precision Sealed Ball Bearings. Shown in photo with 5″ wheels. This L3 stem caster is made from stamped steel that is zinc plated for corrosion resistance. This stem caster uses a ⅜” diameter axle and the swivel caster raceway is held together by a ½” diameter rivet. Stem Caster Model L3 caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. There is a metal dust cover protecting the raceways to shield them from dust and dirt. This stem caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 800 lbs on a set of 4 model 3 casters.
This caster wheel is made of a non-marking gray rubber tire that is mechanically bonded to it’s polyolefin center. The axle diameter of this caster wheel is ⅜” and the width of the wheel is 1-¼”.The durometer of this soft gray rubber caster wheel is 90-95A, making it ideal for vibration and noise reduction. This caster wheel has a sealed precision ball bearing protected with plastic spanner bushings that reduce the inner diameter of the axle, act as thread guards, and guard the bearing from indirect and direct moisture exposure. Injection molded caster wheels are not designed to carry large amounts of weight in static load applications, please consult with us for a better choice.
