Phenolic caster wheels are a hard composition, non-marking wheel that is excellent for large loads that do not move often. This caster wheel can handle the impacts of small obstructions and shock loads, as well as being unable to develop flat spots if left immobile with a high static load. Phenolic is not a good choice if your application exposes the wheel to excessive water, oil, and other chemicals – phenolic can slowly absorb this over time and fail. Phenolic caster wheels come standard with a roller bearing and have precision sealed ball bearings as an option. This wheel comes in diameters ranging from 3” to 18” and the width of the wheels ranges from 1-¼” to 4”.
