Description

4″ Phenolic. Swivel Bearing Seal & Grease Fitting. Shown in photo with 5″ wheels. Stainless Steel Model 3 stem caster frames are constructed with stamped steel. This swivel stem caster is built with a ⅜” axle bolt and the swivel raceways are held together by a ½” rivet. Stainless Steel stem Caster Model 3 caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. There is a solid cover over the swivel raceways to shield them from dirt and dust. The Stainless Steel Stem Caster Model 3 performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1000 lbs on a set of 4 Model 3 casters.

Phenolic caster wheels are a hard composition, non-marking wheel that is excellent for large loads that do not move often. This caster wheel can handle the impacts of small obstructions and shock loads, as well as being unable to develop flat spots if left immobile with a high static load. Phenolic can absorb water and other chemicals if excessive exposure occurs. Phenolic caster wheels come standard with a roller bearing and have precision sealed ball bearings as an option. This wheel comes in diameters ranging from 3” to 18” and the width of the wheels ranges from 1-¼” to 4”.
