4″ x 1 1/2″ High Temp Glass – Nylon Wheel 4″ x 1 1/2″ shown in photo. High Temperature Wheels with a prefix “NP” in the part number are made of nylon mixed with glass fiber. The high temperature caster wheel “NP” is designed for moist heat applications only. This caster wheel is hard and brittle, meaning you should only use it on a hard smooth floor surface. Caster City manufactures this wheel in a variety of sizes, with diameters ranging from 3” to 8” and tread width ranging from 1-¼” to 2”. The temperature range of these high temperature caster wheels is up to 425° F for 30 minutes MAXIMUM continuous operation. Caster City can furnish high temperature phenolic wheels in either a plain bore or with a straight roller bearing.
