5″ Gray Soft Rubber. Swivel Bearing Seal & Grease Fitting. The Stainless Steel Stem Caster Model 3 is made using a stamped steel construction and is excellent for corrosive applications. The swivel raceway of this caster is held together by a ½” diameter rivet and uses a ⅜” diameter axle. Stainless Steel stem Caster Model 3 caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. There is a metal dust cover protecting the raceways to shield them from dust and dirt. The Stainless Steel Stem Caster Model 3 performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1000 lbs on a set of 4 Model 3 casters.
This caster wheel is made of a non-marking gray rubber tire that is mechanically bonded to it’s polyolefin center. This caster wheel is 1-¼” wide and is designed to use a ⅜” axle.This caster wheel has a durometer of 90-95 A which assists in vibration and noise dampening. This gray soft rubber caster wheel is assembled with a sealed precision ball bearing that is further guarded by two plastic spanner bushings which also act as thread guards, rotating against the axle and further protecting the bearing from direct water or chemical exposure. Injection molded caster wheels are not designed to carry large amounts of weight in static load applications, please consult with us for a better choice.
