Economy Stainless Steel Model K3 stem caster frames are constructed with stamped steel and the 304 stainless steel is excellent for corrosion resistance and washdowns, such as with food processing. Economy Stainless Steel Stem Caster Model K3 has a ⅜” axle and the swivel bearing is held together by a ½” rivet. Economy Stainless Steel Stem Caster Model K3 caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. This caster is excellent for washdown situations due to having no swivel bearing cover or a grease fitting, which helps facilitate water draining through the swivel bearing and raceways. This stem caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1000 lbs on a set of 4 Model K3 casters.

This caster comes with a gray, non-marking, injection molded thermoplastic rubber tire mechanically bonded to a polyolefin center. The axle diameter of this caster wheel is ⅜” and the width of the wheel is 1-¼”.This caster wheel has a durometer of 90-95 A which assists in vibration and noise dampening.
