5″ Phenolic. Swivel Bearing Seal & Grease Fitting. This Model 3 stainless steel stem caster is formed from 304 stainless stamped steel. This stainless steel stem caster uses a ⅜” diameter axle and the swivel caster raceway is held together by a ½” diameter rivet. Stainless Steel stem Caster Model 3 caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. There is a solid cover over the swivel raceways to shield them from dirt and dust. Institutional stem casters of this size are not intended to hold more than 1000 lbs on four of them, please consult with us at Caster City for assistance.

Phenolic caster wheels make an excellent, low cost choice for supporting high standing loads that move infrequently. Phenolic can not develop a flat spot if left parked for a long period under load, and the wheel is capable of withstanding shock loads and the impacts of small obstructions. Phenolic is capable of absorbing chemicals and water if it is given excessive exposure, if your application is wet consider a different wheel. Phenolic caster wheels come standard with a roller bearing and have precision sealed ball bearings as an option. This wheel comes in diameters ranging from 3” to 18” and the width of the wheels ranges from 1-¼” to 4”.
