Description
All institutional stem casters are made from stamped steel and zinc plated to resist corrosion. This caster’s swivel bearing consists of two ball bearings on hardened raceways to assist with changing direction and to handle thrust loads. This caster is built with a 3/8” axle and the swivel raceways are held together by a 1/2” rivet. There is a cover protecting the raceways to shield them from dirt and dust. This stem caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1,000 lbs on a set of 4 model 3 casters.
