5″ Welded Disc Polyurethane Wheel with Rigid Caster. Photo shown with 5″ caster. Total Locking Stainless Rigid Caster Model 3A is made using a stamped steel construction and is zinc plated. This rigid plate caster comes with ⅜” diameter axle bolt. Rigid casters are most commonly selected when price is a factor, or if you need to travel in a straight line over long distances. This rigid caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1200 lbs on a set of 4 Model 3A casters. The Total Locking Stainless Caster Model 3A is perfect for hospital equipment.

Caster City has designed the welded disc polyurethane caster wheels with stainless steel discs, and the liquid caster tire is permanently set between the discs. The welded disc caster wheel comes with stainless steel annular ball bearings which are designed roll on a ⅜” diameter axle. This caster wheel boasts an attractive appearance and was designed for the test laboratory industry to withstand washdowns and caustic chemical conditions. The welded disc polyurethane wheel is available in either 4” or 5” and the tread width is 1-¼”. The welded disc polyurethane wheel has a temperature range of -40°F to +180°F and the durometer of the polyurethane is 95A(+/-5).
