Description
6″ Phenolic Wheel. Size shown in photo is 6 x 2. This Model G15 stainless steel rigid caster is made from 304 stamped stainless steel and stands up to corrosive environments well, especially suitable for washdowns due to having a simple design. The legs of this caster and the mounting plate are made from ¼” thick 304 stainless steel. This caster is ROHS and NSF compliant. Stainless steel Plate Rigid Caster Model G15 is completed with a 1/2” axle bolt. Rigid casters are most commonly selected when price is a factor, or if you need to travel in a straight line over long distances. This Stainless steel plate caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1200 lbs per rigid caster.
Phenolic caster wheels make an excellent, low cost choice for supporting high standing loads that move infrequently. This caster wheel can handle the impacts of small obstructions and shock loads, as well as being unable to develop flat spots if left immobile with a high static load. Phenolic can absorb water and other chemicals if excessive exposure occurs. Phenolic caster wheels come standard with a roller bearing and have precision sealed ball bearings as an option. Phenolic caster wheels start at 3” in diameter and are offered in diameters up to 18”. All phenolic wheels have a Durometer of Shore D 90 and the temperature range is -40° to +250° F.
