Swivel Caster Model 9s are our most selected industrial caster because of its moderate initial cost and extensive selection of wheels. Under the mounting plate it has 2 rows of balls rotating on heat treated raceways. The swivel has a bolt and nut center pin welded to withstand normal abuse in a manually moved application. Specifications: center bolt diameter – 5/8”, leg thickness – 1/4”; welded on the inside and out, axle diameter – 1/2” long, hub width – 2 7/16”. This caster is constructed from stamped steel. The metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance, and it has lubrication fittings for all moveable parts. Model 9 has a broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks for most applications. Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request.
DO NOT ORDER SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS IF YOU ORDER THE TL – TOTAL LOCK BRAKE. THE TL BRAKE WILL NOT WORK WITH EITHER THE SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS.
