6″ x 2″ Ductile Steel Wheel. Size shown in photo is 6 x 2. When loads are too heavy for floor protective wheels, or where unusually severe service factors are present, Ductile steel industrial caster wheels will do the job. Ductile steel wheels have higher ductility and tensile strength compared to Gray Iron wheels. Caster City manufactures all of our steel wheels with a lubrication fitting in the hub. Caster City offers Ductile steel industrial caster wheels with either a roller bearing, sealed ball bearings. Caster City manufactures Ductile steel industrial wheels in 2”, 3”, and 4” wide and in diameters ranging from 6” to 12”. Ductile steel industrial caster wheels can be used up to 400° F depending upon the application. Ductile steel industrial caster wheels should only be used on steel plating, metal channels, or as v-grooved wheels on an angle iron track to protect your expensive factory floors from damage.
