8″ High Temperature Phenolic Bronze Bearing – Model 9 Swivel Caster

Description

Plate Caster Model 9 are a cost effective option with a broad variety of wheels. The swivel turn on these plate casters is perfect for hand powered applications due to its bolt and welded nut center pin. Under the mounting plate this model is built with 2 rows of balls to turn easily on heated raceways. Features: center bolt diameter is 5/8”, axle diameter is 1/2” long, leg thickness is 1/4” – inside and out weld, and hub width of 2 7/16”.  This caster model 9 uses stamped steel with zinc plated frames, and greased fittings. There is also has a broad variety selection of wheel brakes and swivel turn locks for the majority of applications as well as other plate sizes and wheel bearing types available on request.

It should also be noted that Model 9 Phenolic Casters are an awesome choice for capacity limited applications due to the sturdiness of the wheel and flat spots not occurring. The phenolic wheel holds loads as much as the same size’s iron wheel as well as handling shock loads. Phenolic wheels are capable of absorbing water and other chemicals if exposed, but if this is not ideal. Select polyolefin wheels instead for better performance. Phenolic wheels in Model 9 come standard with a roller bearing.  Temperature range is -40° to +250° F, with intermittent use up to 300° F.

DO NOT ORDER SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS IF YOU ORDER THE TL – TOTAL LOCK BRAKE. THE TL BRAKE WILL NOT WORK WITH EITHER THE SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS.
