Description
The Plate Caster Model 50 with Phenolic Wheel has a larger mounting plate and thicker legs.
This allows for heavier loads and more difficult service. The precision machined swivel provides excellent performance on both hand operated and mechanically powered machinery.
There are oil fittings for all mobile parts, and the metal frames are zinc plated for rust prevention.
Phenolic caster wheels are a hard composition, non-marking wheel that is excellent for large loads that do not move often. This phenolic caster wheel can not develop flat spots and the wheel is capable of withstanding the impacts of small obstructions or shock loads. If your application will expose this caster wheel to routine moisture or chemicals, you should use another wheel. Phenolic caster wheels come standard with a roller bearing and have precision sealed ball bearings as an option. This wheel comes in diameters ranging from 3” to 18” and the width of the wheels ranges from 1-¼” to 4”.
