Description
Rigid Model 9 Plate Casters with phenolic wheels were designed with straight line travel in mind. The rigid casters are used when you need to move something manually with a fixed path. Sold normally with swivel casters, they are an excellent choice for capacity load applications.
The strong build of the caster wheel makes sure that it cannot develop any kind of a flat spot. The phenolic wheel carries loads as good as iron wheels. The one disadvantage is they can’t handle excessive exposure to water and other chemicals, so select polyolefin wheels when this is the case. Phenolic wheels in Model 9 come standard with a roller bearing. Temperature range is -40° to +250° F, with intermittent use up to 300° F.
