DO NOT ORDER SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS IF YOU ORDER THE TL – TOTAL LOCK BRAKE. THE TL BRAKE WILL NOT WORK WITH EITHER THE SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS.

The Swivel casters in the Model 9 are a low cost option and come with a wide variety of wheels. The turn swivel has a center pin welded with the bolt and the nut that can withstand a normal wear and tear when moved by hand or other such means. There are two rows of balls to handle heat-treated raceways. With a diameter of 5/8″, leg thickness of 1/4″, and axle diameter of 1/2″, a hub diameter of 2 7/16″, and a 5/8″ center bolt, the Model 9 is perfect for most application use. Every moving part is also lubricated with a grease fitting and plated in zinc to help prevent rust. Model 9 has a wide range of caster locks, plate mount types, and wheel brakes as well.

In storage load applications, the Phenolic Casters Model 9 delivers a phenomenal performance. Their well built structure ensures that they will not develop flat spots. They carry weights as good as an iron wheel caster might. Model 9 Phenolic Casters can handle small obstructions and shock loads but you should polyolefin wheels instead of plastic wheels if excessive exposure to water or chemicals occurs. Each plastic wheel in Model 9 includes a roller bearing. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to +250°C. Moreover, its intermittent use may reach 300°F.
