Description

Model 30 Swivel Casters are an upgrade from the swivel caster model G15 in that it contains a wider wheels, larger swivel, and wheel bearings. The swivel precision provides unmatched usability for both hand operated and mechanically powered equipment. The metal frames in the caster are zinc plated for rust resistance, and there are greasing fittings for all moveable parts. Popular options include a face contact wheel brake to lock the wheels and a hand operated swivel latch that converts a swivel caster into a rigid caster for straight line travel.

Phenolic caster wheels make an excellent, low cost choice for supporting high standing loads that move infrequently. This caster wheel can handle the impacts of small obstructions and shock loads, as well as being unable to develop flat spots if left immobile with a high static load. Phenolic can absorb water and other chemicals if excessive exposure occurs. Phenolic caster wheels come standard with a roller bearing and have precision sealed ball bearings as an option. This wheel comes in diameters ranging from 3” to 18” and the width of the wheels ranges from 1-¼” to 4”. A phenolic wheel has a temperature range is -40° to +250° F and a Durometer of Shore D 90.
