8″ x 2″ Ductile Steel Wheel Slight Crown Tread. Size shown in photo is 6 x 2. When your application requires Ductile steel wheels, the user will not consider floor wear as too great a penalty considering the work needing to be done. Ductile steel wheels have higher ductility and tensile strength compared to Gray Iron wheels. Caster City manufactures all of our steel wheels with a lubrication fitting in the hub. Caster City offers Ductile steel industrial caster wheels with either a roller bearing, sealed ball bearings. Ductile steel wheels are offered in 2” , 3” and 4” wide and we make this industrial caster wheel in diameters starting at 6” and up. Ductile steel industrial caster wheels can be used up to 400° F depending upon the application. Ductile steel industrial caster wheels will damage most factory floors while under heavy loads, and thus are generally used on steel plate, in channel, or as v-grooved wheels rolling on an inverted angle iron track.
