ERGX Wheel: 1.25″ Wide Ergonomic Polyurethane Industrial Caster Wheel

The ERGX Wheel is a 1.25″ wide industrial caster wheel designed for smooth, quiet, and efficient movement. Its vibrant orange, injection-molded polyurethane tread is mechanically bonded to a lightweight polyolefin center for excellent durability and strength. The 80A polyurethane is soft and bouncy, like a tennis ball, reducing push-pull forces to make starting from a stop or changing directions easier while using less energy to keep rolling. Dual precision sealed ball bearings in the hub ensure quiet, low-maintenance operation. Compared to gray rubber wheels, the ERGX Wheel rolls more easily on smooth floors, making it ideal for research laboratories, hospitals, food service, schools, bakeries, and other institutional settings.

This wheel outperforms rubber in many ways. Its polyurethane tread resists grease, oil, cutting, chunking, abrasive wear, and many chemicals and solvents, making it suitable for nearly any factory floor. The ergonomic crown tread design improves maneuverability and reduces friction for smoother rolling. Note that the bonding agent securing the polyurethane tread to the polyolefin center may be affected by certain chemicals, impact, overloading, or heat buildup, similar to mold-on rubber wheels.
