5″ Phenolic. Shown in photo with 5″ wheels. Stainless Steel Rigid Caster are built with stamped 304 stainless steel. The K3A rigid is a cold forged one piece construction. The mounting plate is 2 3/8” x 3 5/8” and the hole pattern is slotted to : 1 3/4” x 2 7/8” – 3”. This rigid caster is chosen when you need to steer in a direct line and you do not require swivel capabilities. This rigid caster uses a 3/8” diameter axle bolt with a latching nut. You can order a lube axle with a grease fitting in the bold head if you need to grease a wheel This caster was designed for hand powered applications only. It is not built to handle industrial abuse in any way or kind When hand powering loads, choose the bigger practical diameter. K3A rigid caster and some of the wheels it offers are NSF and ROHS compliant.
Phenolic caster wheels are a hard composition, non-marking wheel that is excellent for large loads that do not move often. Phenolic caster wheels are capable of withstanding the impact shocks of obstructions or shock loads, and will not develop a flat spot if left parked for a prolonged period.
