Description
The Economy Model K3 Stainless Steel Stem Caster by Caster City is manufactured from 304 stainless stamped steel for corrosion resistance in wet and washdown environments. This swivel stem caster installs directly into equipment socket holes without drilling or bolting. Choose from threaded, grip ring, or expanding adapter stems to match your mounting requirements. Two rows of ball bearings on polished smooth raceways deliver reliable swivel action while the open design without dust cap or grease fitting ensures water drains after each washdown. The swivel assembly is secured by a 1/2″ diameter rivet and features a 3/8″ diameter axle. Up to 350 lbs per caster capacity depending on wheel and stem type; 1,000 lbs max recommended per set of 4. NSF listed and RoHS compliant for prep tables, ingredient carts, and deli display equipment.
The “US” welded disc polyurethane caster wheel features a premium polyurethane tire molded to a center constructed from two separate stainless steel discs. This stainless steel wheel construction withstands harsh washdown conditions and resists corrosion in wet processing environments. The polyurethane tire has a durometer of 95A ±5 and a 1-1/4″ tread width. The temperature range of this wheel is -40°F to +180°F. This wheel is equipped with stainless steel annular ball bearings for corrosion-free rolling performance. The attractive appearance and durable stainless construction make this wheel especially popular in laboratory and cleanroom environments. Available in 4″ and 5″ diameters. Ideal for laboratory equipment, pharmaceutical carts, and cleanroom applications where stainless steel construction and washdown resistance are required.
