Plate Caster Model G15 begins our kingpinless industrial casters with an enclosed precision machined swivel bearing.  This design provides superior performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment.  This casters precision machined swivel bearing enables easier swivel rotation, reduced vibration, and longer trouble free performance from powder coating or other high heat usage.  It features a 2-inch wide ductile steel high temperature wheel paired with a Single-Piece High-Temperature Bronze Bearing. The wheel is crafted from high-grade ductile steel with a tensile strength of 45,000 psi. It includes a C954 tin bronze bearing with dimensions of 3/4″ ID x 1-3/16″ OD x 2-3/16″ L, capable of withstanding high temperatures up to 1300°F, while the high temperature caster wheel itself is rated for 800°F.  This wheel supports loads up to 1,500 lbs in demanding settings like powder coating, media/sand blasting, foundries, and steel mills. Its zinc-plated, rust-resistant frame enhances durability. Lubrication fittings allow for easy maintenance of all moveable parts. The kingpinless design has an enclosed swivel bearing that makes it rather hard to clog or jam, preventing particulates or powder from affecting the swivel bearing or wheel bearing. This caster delivers over 10 years of duty by resisting corrosion and wear. It remains maintenance-free with just high-temperature grease, ensuring reliable performance on tracks or flat floors in extreme heat.

One popular option is a larger swivel radius in Model G15 Casters with 6” and 8” wheel diameters.  A larger swivel radius reduces swivel shimmy vibration and makes it easier to change directions.  This caster comes with a 1/2” diameter axle with a locking nut.  This swivel caster is made of a hot-forged construction with legs welded to the swivel bearing.
