You should never select on the basis of load capacity alone. Capacity ratings do not take into account the effort required to manually move a load. Capacity ratings are based on manual operation under ideal conditions. If these wheels are going to be moved by mechanically powered equipment, consult us for a reduced capacity rating based on your application.
Textile Casters Features:
These rugged cold forged textile casters are popular on production equipment in textile plants. They are recommended only for manually moved usage. Oversized spacers provide protection from string build-up and allow easy removal of string without removing the wheel. The thread guards prevent string from binding the wheel bearing.
- Swivel Construction – cold forged top plate and yoke base from 1/4″ steel. Swivel has double ball bearing with hardened raceways.
- Center Pin – 5/8″ diameter rivet.
- Legs – 1/4″ thick, welded outside only.
- Axle – 1/2” diameter bolt with lock nut.
- Wheel Bearing – RB = Roller Bearing, PSBB = Precision Sealed Ball Bearings
- Grease Fittings – for swivel.
- Spacers – Oversized spacers provide protection from string build-up and allow easy removal of string without removing the wheel.
- Thread Guards – The thread guards prevent string from binding the wheel bearing.
- Finish – external metal parts are zinc plated
- Deduct 1 lb. for weight of rigid caster.
