Plate Caster Model 3 Features:
Capacity up to 350 pounds per caster. These casters are ideal for most types of equipment and projects where the total weight is less than 1000 lbs. on a set of 4 casters. They are offered with a wide selection of wheels. Model 3 casters are popular with retail business and consumer applications.
- Swivel Construction Stamped steel. Swivel has double ball bearing with hardened raceways. Metal cover shields swivel bearings from dirt and dust.
- Finish: external metal parts are Zinc plated.
- Axle is 3/8″ diameter bolt with lock nut.
- Center Pin is a 1/2″ diameter steel rivet.
- Wheel Bearing Types (PS= Precision Sealed Ball Bearings, B= Ball Bearings, D= Delrin Bearings, RB= Roller Bearing, P= Plain Bore.)
We suggest that you do NOT drill the mounting holes to attach the casters until you receive them.

Mobile: Hold down your finger on the chart and scroll to the right to click on the part number you would like to order.
- Deduct 1/4 lb. for weight of rigid caster.
- Use the Polyolefin ( Industrial Plastic ) wheel for “Standing Loads”. Polyolefin wheels eliminate the possiblilty of a flat spot developing if the castered equipment is left parked for a prolong period.
- You should never select on the basis of load capacity alone. Capacity ratings do not take into account the effort required to manually move a load. Capacity ratings are based on manual operation under ideal conditions. These casters are not to be moved by mechanically powered equipment.
A zinc plated quick change plate gets bolted to your equipment and enables the casters to be easily and quickly installed or replaced (changed) without using tools.
Please note: THIS DOES NOT FIT OUR MODEL 3A TOTAL LOCKING CASTER !!!!!! Do NOT use with RIGID Casters.
